TORRANCE, Calif. — The 2025 Honda Accord and Accord Hybrid have been recognized as the “Best Cars for Families” in their respective categories by U.S. News & World Report, the publication announced Tuesday.
The standard turbocharged Accord earned the title of “Best Midsize Car for Families,” while the Accord Hybrid was named “Best Midsize Hybrid Car for Families,” marking the fourth and second wins, respectively, for the models.
“Both the standard and hybrid Honda Accords offer class-leading back seat and trunk space, good fuel economy, and many safety and driver assistance features,” said Alex Kwanten, managing editor of Autos for U.S. News & World Report. “That’s a very compelling recipe for family shoppers.”
The awards, which evaluate vehicles based on safety, reliability, space, comfort, and family-friendly features, highlight Honda’s commitment to practicality and innovation. The Accord Hybrid, positioned at the top of the 11th-generation Accord lineup, now represents more than half of Accord sales.
Honda, which has been manufacturing cars in the U.S. for over 40 years, continues to expand its electrified vehicle lineup, including the hybrid-electric Accord, CR-V, and Civic, as well as the all-electric Prologue SUV.
