This unfortunate incident claimed the lives of two individuals, including a locally engaged employee, while two others sustained injuries. Global Affairs Canada expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and wishes a swift and complete recovery to those who were injured. We can confirm that all other staff members at the High Commission are safe and unhurt.
