The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, extended warm congratulations to Chief Emeka Anyaoku, the former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth and Nigerian Permanent Representative in the United Nations, on the occasion of his 91st birth anniversary.

He recalled Chief Anyaoku’s pivotal role in overturning the apartheid regime in South Africa and his unwavering commitment to the restoration of democracy in Nigeria in 1999.
