President Bola Tinubu has approved a N70,000 minimum wage

Breaking: President Bola Tinubu has approved a N70,000 minimum wage for Nigerian workers and pledged to review the national minimum wage law every three years.

President Tinubu also committed to finding ways to support the private sector and sub-national entities in meeting the minimum wage requirements.

These decisions were announced by President Tinubu during a meeting with TUC and NLC leaders on Thursday in Abuja, marking their second meeting in seven days.

The labor leaders praised President Tinubu for his considerate actions, and the President also promised to use his discretionary powers to address the demands of university unions seeking payment for four months of unpaid salaries.
