EndBadGovernance Protesters Begins One Million Man Protest In FCT

The EndBadGovernance protesters have commenced a one-milion-man protest in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja.

The protesters returned to the streets on Saturday after a brief period of calm. The protest was suspended after raids on residences and the arrest of organisers by security agencies.

The protest against high cost of living which began on August 1 is expected to end today, August 10.

The organizers had vowed to stage a one-milion-man protest in the 36 states and the nation’s capital to mark the grand finale of the hunger protest.

The protesters, who stormed the street early hours of Saturday morning, were seen carrying different placards and chanting “we are hungry”.

Also at Eagles Square, there has been a noticeable increase in the number of security agents stationed at the facility, a change from the past three days when there were no protests.

On Saturday, the protesters, who began their demonstration as early as 7am were chrousing “End hunger” and “Reverse fuel subsidy removal,” among others.
