Berlin (dpa) – The 2025 men’s Nations League final four will take place in Germany or Italy – whichever wins March’s quarter-final – UEFA confirmed on Monday.
It means Germany may host another football tournament just a year after holding Euro 2024.
The final round of the Nations League will take place from June 4-8.
Italy host Germany in the last eight in Milan on March 20 with the second leg three days later in Dortmund.
Portugal v Denmark, Spain v the Netherlands and France v Craita are the other quarter-finals.
Germany have never reached the men’s final tournament in the three previous editions of the Nations League.
The venues for the final tournament will be Munich and Stuttgart or Turin.
The German Football Federation (DFB) applied with nine possible venues but UEFA’s preference was for Munich and Stuttgart given the Champions League final is already taking place in Munich on May 31, meaning many logistical preparations will already have been made at the stadium.
The announcement was made after a UEFA executive committee meeting in Switzerland.
