Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, the former Minister of Women Affairs, has made her entry into the Nigerian film industry, Nollywood.
This transition came just a few months after President Bola Tinubu dismissed her from her ministerial position.
Kennedy-Ohanenye was appointed as a minister in August 2023 but was removed during a cabinet reshuffle on October 23, 2024, along with four other ministers. At 51 years old, she turned her attention to filmmaking, announcing her new career path on her X handle, where she shared a video showcasing her latest project.
