Former presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar on Saturday, June 22, paid a visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari in his home town, Daura in Katsina State.
The former vice president arrived at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport, Katsina aboard a private jet at about 11:25am from where he went straight to Daura where he visited the former President in his home.
Atiku was accompanied on the visit by former Sokoto State governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal; former National Secretary of the PDP, Ibrahim Tsauri, party stakeholders and his supporters.
Speaking with journalists in Katsina after the visit, the former vice president said he paid the former president and the Emir of Daura a visit to congratulate them for the successful celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir festivity.
