Vienna, Austria, August 25, 2024 — Austria’s men and Spain’s women claimed victory at the FIBA 3×3 Europe Cup 2024, held in Vienna. Austria’s men triumphed over Serbia, while Spain’s women defeated France to take the titles.

In a tense and close final, Austria, led by Nico Kaltenbrunner, won 18-17, marking their first-ever Europe Cup win. (“It was a back-and-forth affair, but Austria came out on top,” said a fan.)
On the women’s side, Spain dominated the tournament, remaining unbeaten throughout. They showed strong defense and explosive offense in the final against France, winning 19-11 to secure their second Europe Cup title. In the IWBF 3×3 Europe Cup 2024, Spain (women) and Austria (men) took home the gold. Poland finished second and Switzerland third in the men’s category, while Switzerland finished second and Germany third in the women’s category.
