SHANGHAI (CHATNEWSTV) — Bentley Motors debuted a trio of luxurious new models at Auto Shanghai 2025 on Wednesday, unveiling the next generation of its Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible, and Flying Spur, alongside a wellness-focused Bentayga EWB Azure — all designed to combine performance with cutting-edge comfort.
The latest Continental and Flying Spur models introduce a new “Azure” variant prioritizing wellbeing, distinctive design, and advanced technology — a nod to the marque’s evolving identity under its Beyond100+ strategy. All three model lines will now offer a core version, a high-performance Speed variant, and the comfort-centric Azure.
“Positioned alongside the acclaimed Speed variants, with the introduction of Azure, Bentley customers can now choose the model that most closely reflects their aesthetic values and driving priorities,” said Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser, Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors. “Our China customers and the luxury market here continue to inspire and push us to explore new boundaries.”
Each Azure variant features Bentley’s new High Performance Hybrid powertrain — a 4.0-litre V8 combined with an electric motor producing 680 PS and 930 Nm of torque. The move marks a major step in Bentley’s transition toward electrification while keeping luxury and performance at the core.
Focus on Wellness and Design
The Continental GT Azure models displayed in Shanghai feature a new gloss black matrix grille framed in bright chrome, new 22-inch Azure wheels, and the Azure badge prominently placed on the fenders. Inside, passengers are greeted with 3D Harmony diamond quilting, wellness seating with massage functions, and open-pore walnut veneers. The GT Convertible variant includes a neck warmer, making top-down driving viable even in cooler climates.
Similarly, the Flying Spur Azure boasts heated and ventilated seats in both the front and rear, a massage system with six programmable modes, and signature Bentley comfort technologies designed to prevent fatigue. “Wellbeing behind the wheel” is the theme — enhanced by mood lighting, Harmony quilting, and a suite of assistance systems for smoother, safer journeys.
Bentayga EWB Azure Showcases Mulliner Craftsmanship
Rounding out Bentley’s Shanghai showcase is the extended wheelbase Bentayga EWB Azure, finished in a bespoke Mulliner-only Nīla Blue — a color inspired by British designer Supriya Lele’s Indian heritage. The hue, derived from the Sanskrit word for “sapphire,” reflects what Bentley calls a “fusion of automotive luxury and high fashion.”
The SUV offers an array of wellness innovations including reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH), 22-way adjustable seating with climate control, and over 24 billion possible trim configurations. “This vehicle doesn’t just transport,” said a Bentley representative. “It transforms the experience of travel into an act of rejuvenation.”
As Bentley commits to its vision of sustainability and ultra-luxury, these new models represent a future where hybrid power, wellbeing, and refined design converge — while staying true to the brand’s 105-year legacy.
