ABUJA, (ChatnewsTV) – President Bola Tinubu has re-designated the roles of two recently appointed officials in the State House media and communications team to boost the efficiency of the government’s communication machinery.
A statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, on Monday, announced that Sunday Dare, who was previously the Special Adviser on Public Communication and National Orientation, has been re-designated as Special Adviser, Media and Public Communications.
Daniel Bwala, who was appointed last week as Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, will now serve as Special Adviser, Policy Communication.
Onanuga explained that the restructuring was part of a broader effort to streamline communication within the administration. “These appointments, along with the existing role of Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, underscore that there is no single individual spokesperson for the Presidency,” he said.
Instead, the three Special Advisers will collectively serve as spokespersons for the government, working together to communicate the policies, decisions, and engagements of the administration.
“This approach aims to ensure effective and consistent communication of government policies,” Onanuga added.
