JERUSALEM (Chatnewstv.com) — Israel’s prime minister said Tuesday that an operation targeting senior Hamas leaders in Doha was carried out solely by Israeli forces.
“Today’s action against the top terrorist chieftains of Hamas was a wholly independent Israeli operation,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a tweet.
“Israel initiated it, Israel conducted it, and Israel takes full responsibility.”
The statement comes as speculation mounts over whether the United States government was informed prior to the attack on Hamas leaders in Doha.
