Ecobank Group Unveils Brand Campaign at the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023

LOMÉ, Togo, January 14, 2024 — Today, Ecobank, the foremost pan-African financial services group, proudly launched its innovative brand campaign, ‘A BETTER WAY | A BETTER AFRICA,’ during the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023 (AFCON). As an official sponsor of this premier football event, Ecobank is harnessing the unifying spirit of African football to underscore its commitment to sustainable growth across the continent.

Jeremy Awori, Chief Executive Officer of Ecobank Group, emphasized the essence of the campaign, stating, “At Ecobank, we are propelling growth in Africa by providing affordable, reliable, and innovative financial services. ‘A BETTER WAY | A BETTER AFRICA’ mirrors our unwavering dedication to the continent. The campaign, built on insights from a comprehensive pan-African brand survey, seeks to empower clients and customers to realize their aspirations for a brighter future, contributing to a better Africa.

Awori further explained, “Our pan-African purpose and single gateway platform, coupled with our diverse workforce across 35 countries, position us as enablers and partners for our clients to identify and seize new opportunities.”

Notably, the campaign spotlights Ecobank’s digital network and continent-wide connectivity, including its unified payment ecosystem. This infrastructure supports market access and business growth, aligning with the opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

The fully integrated campaign features a dynamic blend of digital and traditional media, incorporating a television commercial filmed on the African continent. Following the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023, the campaign will be progressively rolled out across Africa.
