European Iron Lady, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas Visits Paris, Ukraine Tops The Agenda

Stenbock House, 3 May 2024 –Today, Prime Minister Kaja Kallas of Estonia is on a diplomatic visit to Paris.

According to a press release from the office of the Estonian Prime Minister, Prime Minister Kaja Kallas is scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Gabriel Attal.

The press stated that the meetings will primarily focus on support for Ukraine, European security, and preparations for the upcoming NATO Washington Summit. Other topics of discussion include the situation in the Middle East and the development of bilateral relations between Estonia and France.

During her visit, Prime Minister Kallas is expected to deliver a speech on the future of Europe. This event is organized by the Robert Schuman Foundation and will be held at the Sciences Po university in Paris. The speech is anticipated to provide insights into Estonia’s vision for the future of the European Union.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister will participate in a discussion on European security issues. This discussion is organized by the French newspaper Libération and will take place at the Sorbonne University.

The statement ended by emphasizing the importance of strong diplomatic ties and open dialogue between European nations, especially in these times of global uncertainty and change.
