HELSINKI, Finland (Chatnewstv.com) — Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will travel to Tallinn on November 12 to meet with her Estonian counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs Margus Tsahkna, the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs announced Tuesday.
The foreign ministers are slated to discuss bilateral relations between Finland and Estonia, alongside current foreign and security policy issues, including continued support for Ukraine.
“Estonia is one of Finland’s closest partners, and the bilateral relations between our countries are excellent,” said Minister Valtonen in a statement. “Our extensive cooperation strengthens the security of the Baltic Sea Region and Europe. I value our regular dialogue.”
During her visit, Minister Valtonen will also participate in the celebration of the 107th anniversary of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
