Must read

Nick Imudia, the former CEO of Nigerian e-commerce giant Konga and the CEO of D.light, a leading innovator in residential solar energy solutions, tragically died by suicide.

Imudia reportedly took his life on the night of Tuesday, June 25, by jumping from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Lagos.

Before his death, Imudia made a distressing call to his brother in the United States, providing instructions on how to distribute his wealth in the event of his death. He also contacted his young daughter from a previous relationship, reassuring her that he would always be with her and telling her to look to the sky to feel his presence.

The news has left his friends, family, and associates in shock, as they struggle to understand the reasons behind his tragic decision.

Nick Imudia, who hailed from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, had previously been married to the mother of his daughter, who was also from the same local government. Their marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences.

Imudia’s passing is a profound loss to the business community and those who knew him personally.
