Former Kano Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje Emerges National Chairman Of APC

The National Executive Committee NEC of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has confirmed the appointment of the immediate-past Governor of Kano state, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje as National Chairman of the party.

Mr Ahmed El-Marzuk, the national legal adviser of the All Progressives Congress–APC, has officially resigned from the party’s National Working Committee—NWC.

This medium gathered that El-Marzuk resigned his appointment following mounting pressure by some of his colleagues who maintained that he could not longer be in office due to some allegations against him.

El-Marzuq, who is said to be an ally of former National Chairman of APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, reportedly tendered his resignation on Wednesday afternoon.

NEC took the decision at its 12th meeting held Thursday in Abuja.

It also appointed Senator Basiru Ajibola as Nation bao Secretary.
