On International Women’s Day, the German Football Federation (DFB) presented the logo and the slogan for its bid to host the women’s Euro 2029.
“The logo and the slogan are essential elements to make our campaign even more present and tangible,” DFB president Bernd Neuendorf said in a statement published on Saturday.
With the slogan “Together WE Rise” and a colourful funky logo, the DFB wants to show its intention “to celebrate a great festival of women’s soccer together.”
The federation added, “The bright colours symbolize the diversity of the continent and the optimism regarding the further development of women’s football.”
Five declarations of interest had been made before last September’s deadline to host the tournament: Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal and a joint bid from Denmark and Sweden.
Federations have until August 28 to submit their final bid dossier. The host will be named in December 2025.
