WASHINGTON (CHATNEWSTV) — Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth spoke with Israeli Minister of Defense Israel Katz on Monday to discuss bilateral security cooperation, regional developments, and defense priorities, according to a readout from the Pentagon.
Pentagon Press Secretary John Ullyot said Hegseth reaffirmed the United States’ “100 percent commitment” to Israel’s security and emphasized the “unbreakable bond” between the two nations.
Both leaders discussed regional threats and agreed that Iran remains a key challenge to stability in the Middle East. They pledged to continue working together to address security concerns and strengthen defense cooperation.
The call comes as the United States continues to support Israel amid ongoing regional tensions and shifting geopolitical dynamics.
