House Bill Seeks to Make Voting Mandatory in Nigeria

A bill proposing mandatory voting for qualified Nigerians has scaled second reading at House of Representatives.

The bill, sponsored by Tajudeen Abbas, speaker of the house, passed second reading stage after an extensive debate during Thursday’s plenary.
