Influencer VDM Frustrated as Bobrisky, EFCC Boss Skip House Hearing on Bribery Allegations

ABUJA, Nigeria (ChatnewsTV) — Social media influencer Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), voiced his frustration on Monday after both controversial cross-dresser Bobrisky and the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) failed to appear at a House of Representatives hearing on a N15 million bribery allegation.

The lower legislative chamber had summoned VDM, Bobrisky, and the EFCC chairman following allegations that Bobrisky paid EFCC officials N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him earlier this year.

In a recent post on his official social media channels, VDM shared an audio clip purportedly featuring Bobrisky’s voice, where the cross-dresser allegedly claimed to have made the payment to the EFCC in April. The revelation quickly went viral, sparking nationwide outrage and calls for an investigation.

However, during the scheduled hearing at the National Assembly complex on Monday, only VDM appeared before the lawmakers. Bobrisky and the EFCC chairman were conspicuously absent, prompting VDM to express his displeasure.

“I am not making any statement until the others show up,” VDM said. “If I say anything, let me die.”
