JUSUN Embark On Indefinite Strike Over Unpaid Wages

Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has ordered its members across all federal courts and judicial institutions to embark on an indefinite strike action starting from Monday, June 2, 2025.

The decision, according to a letter signed on Friday by Gideon A. Maku, the Public Relations Officer of the union, Federal High Court chapter, Abuja, and addressed to all staff, follows failed negotiations with the Minister of Labour and Employment on May 30, 2025.

The strike is in response to the Federal Government’s failure to implement the new minimum wage, 25/35% salary increment, and wage award for judiciary staff.

All staff members have been directed to remain at home until further notice.

The strike action is expected to disrupt court proceedings and other judicial activities.
