BRUSSELS — The annual European Union Ambassadors Conference, themed “EU Foreign Policy that Delivers,” will convene in Brussels from February 3 to 7, marking the first such meeting under the new EU leadership.
Hosted by High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the Commission Kaja Kallas, the conference will focus on pressing geopolitical challenges, including Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine, the Middle East conflict, and the evolving situation in Syria.
The conference will bring together EU Ambassadors from over 145 EU Delegations and Offices worldwide, along with Heads of the EU’s military and civilian missions and European Commission Representations across the 27 Member States. Discussions will center on the EU’s diplomatic outreach, security policies, and strategic priorities for the coming years.
Key speakers include European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and European Council President Antonio Costa. NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed, and European Investment Bank President Nadia Calviño will also participate.
Live broadcasts of key speeches will be available on EbS, allowing public access to high-level discussions on EU diplomacy, crisis response, hybrid warfare, and digital transformation.
