Kidnapped Hon. Justice Azuka’s Decomposing Body Found Along Second Niger Bridge

Justice Azuka, a member of the Anambra Assembly representing the Onitsha North 1 constituency, was found dead after being kidnapped on Christmas Eve in Onitsha.

His decomposing body was discovered along the Second Niger Bridge on Wednesday night by a combined security team dispatched from Abuja.

Suspects were arrested late Wednesday by security operatives. The arrested individuals were said to have led authorities to the location where they had dumped the lawmaker’s remains.

Tochukwu Ikenga, the Anambra Police spokesman, said the team, which included police and local vigilante groups, made the grim discovery.

Investigations are currently ongoing, and security operatives have secured the area.

The lawmaker representing Onitsha North Constituency 1 was kidnapped on December 24, 2024, along Ugwunabankpa Road, Inland Town, Onitsha.
