ABUJA, Nigeria (Chatnewstv.com) — Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, senator representing Kogi Central, returned to the National Assembly on Tuesday after her office was reopened by the sergeant-at-arms.
“I’ll return to Senate on Tuesday,” Akpoti-Uduaghan said ahead of her resumption, reaffirming her intention to fully resume legislative duties.
She arrived at the assembly complex hours after the reopening of her office, which had been sealed in recent weeks amid political tension in her constituency.
Akpoti-Uduaghan, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said her focus will remain on delivering legislative service to her constituents.
“I am here to do the work the people of Kogi Central elected me to do, and I will not be distracted,” she said.
