BANGKOK, Thailand (CHATNEWSTV) — Nwajagu Chinemerem Samuel, Nigeria’s representative at the 2024 Mister International pageant, made history Saturday by becoming the first Nigerian and African to win the coveted title.
Samuel triumphed over 46 contestants at the 16th edition of the global competition, held at the Island Hall, Fashion Island, in Bangkok, Thailand. His groundbreaking victory was met with thunderous applause as he was crowned by outgoing Mister International, Kim Thitisan Goodburn of Thailand.
“This is not just a win for me; it’s a win for Nigeria and for Africa,” Samuel said during his acceptance speech. “I hope this inspires young Africans to dream big and aim for the world stage.”
