ABUJA – Rinsola Abiola, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship and Leadership, has been selected as one of the Munich Young Leaders 2025, a prestigious program that brings together emerging global decision-makers.
Joining her in the exclusive cohort are Utaara Mootu, a Member of the National Assembly of Namibia, and Casper Sitemba, a Technical Specialist on Peacebuilding at the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in Kenya. They are among 25 young leaders from politics, diplomacy, and media chosen for the program, jointly organized by the Munich Security Conference and Körber-Stiftung.
Other notable participants include Jalaa Abuarab, Editor-in-Chief of Dooz (Palestine); Luis Donaldo Colosio Riojas, a Mexican Senator; and Jeongmin Kim, Editorial Director at Korea Pro. The program provides a platform for dialogue on global security and policy challenges.
The Munich Young Leaders program is a joint project of the Munich Security Conference and Körber-Stiftung, which brings together decision-makers of tomorrow and supports them in enhancing their international networks.
Abiola’s inclusion highlights Nigeria’s growing influence in international governance, while Mootu and Sitemba’s participation underscores Africa’s increasing role in shaping global discourse.
