ABUJA, Nigeria (Chatnewstv.com) — Nigeria’s Securities and Exchange Commission has launched a redesigned official website with a modern interface and new features aimed at improving access to market information for investors, operators and the public.
In a statement Monday, the regulator said the upgraded platform offers better navigation, consolidated resources such as regulatory guidelines and publications, and a mobile-friendly design.
“This comprehensive upgrade introduces a modern design, enhanced functionality, and a streamlined user experience,” the commission said.
SEC officials said the platform’s improvements will make critical information easier to find, with an intuitive menu structure and responsive design optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.
“The initiative underscores the Commission’s ongoing commitment to transparency, operational efficiency, and improved stakeholder engagement,” the statement said.
Director-General Emomotimi Agama said the redesign reflects the regulator’s focus on improving service delivery and communication.
“This digital advancement is a significant step in building a more transparent and accessible Commission, enhancing our engagement with the capital market and the investing public,” Agama said.
Samiya Usman, executive commissioner for corporate services, added that the upgrade was more than cosmetic.
“By simplifying access and logically organizing content, we have created a powerful platform that supports our mission to develop and regulate a fair, efficient, and transparent capital market,” she said.
The commission urged stakeholders to explore the platform and take advantage of its new features for regulatory updates, market news and services.
