Nigeria’s Wealthiest Woman, Folorunsho Alakija, And Husband Part Ways After 30 Years

Nigeria’s wealthiest woman, Folorunsho Alakija, and her husband, Modupe Alakija, have reportedly ended their 30-year marriage. According to media reports, the couple no longer resides together in their matrimonial home located in the upscale Ikoyi area of Lagos.

The couple is said to have been having constant disagreements, which allegedly led the wealthy businesswoman to demand utmost privacy in her home. As a result, Modupe Alakija was compelled to seek accommodation elsewhere. He is reported to be living alone within the same Ikoyi neighborhood.

Sources reveal that the past few years have not been smooth sailing for the couple. Despite their challenges, they have allegedly been forced to maintain a united front due to their high societal status. The couple’s separation marks the end of what was once considered a blissful union. Further details about the separation are yet to be disclosed.
