Nissan Unleashes 495-HP Patrol NISMO Tailored for Middle East Performance Aficionados

Nissan has launched the most powerful Patrol in the brand’s storied history — the all-new Patrol NISMO — delivering a massive 495 horsepower in a bold, region-exclusive package developed for Middle Eastern drivers.

“Since the introduction of the first Patrol NISMO in 2015, our customers have continually valued its mix of performance, exclusivity, and craftsmanship,” said Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President & President – Middle East, KSA, CIS – Nissan & INFINITI. “With its race-inspired styling and powerful 495 HP engine, the all-new Patrol NISMO offers the thrilling sensation of a sports car while maintaining the commanding presence of an SUV.”

Set to be available from July across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other regional markets, the new Patrol NISMO brings NISMO’s racing DNA to life with a twin-turbo V6 that delivers 700 Nm of torque — mated to a recalibrated 9-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters for maximum driver engagement.

Born for the Desert and Track Alike
With the new VR35DDTT engine — built at Nissan’s Iwaki Plant in Japan and distinguished by a red NISMO cover and commemorative plate — the Patrol NISMO is engineered to push boundaries. The bumper design now channels cool air to reduce brake disc temperatures by 6%, while layered rear diffusers enhance downforce and high-speed stability.

A retuned suspension system with NISMO-tuned electronic dampers and recalibrated electric steering ensures the SUV remains composed on desert highways or mountain curves. The signature NISMO exhaust delivers a throaty note, further enriched by Active Sound Enhancement (ASE) within the cabin.

Design for Presence and Performance
Sporting a new aerodynamic front bumper, air curtains, and a reimagined V-Motion grille, the Patrol NISMO integrates motorsport function with bold design. Red NISMO accents highlight aerodynamic elements such as the “Layered Double Wing” and Formula E-inspired rear fog lamps.

Rear enhancements include a longer spoiler and sculpted splitters to generate downforce, while 22-inch forged aluminum wheels — co-developed with RAYS — offer 23% weight reduction compared to the base model, with added lateral stiffness and improved brake cooling.

Customers can choose from five exterior colors including a NISMO-exclusive Stealth Gray, with available dual-tone options and a black roof to further underscore the SUV’s aggressive stance.

Luxury Inside, Track Pedigree Throughout
Inside, a black-and-red theme dominates, with honeycomb-stitched suede and leather upholstery, red seat belts, carbon-fiber finishes, and aluminum pedals. NISMO branding is embroidered into headrests, while red accents adorn the dashboard, start/stop button, and stitching throughout.

The seats, designed for spirited driving, mirror the exterior’s honeycomb grille pattern, combining support with visual cohesion. The result is a cabin that exudes both motorsport inspiration and high-end refinement.

Exclusive to the Region, Built for the Enthusiast
The all-new Patrol NISMO joins the existing Middle East Patrol lineup alongside the standard Patrol and rugged PRO-4X variant. Its 495 horsepower makes it the most powerful Patrol variant globally, reflecting Nissan’s growing focus on market-specific innovation under the Re:Nissan strategy.

“With customer input shaping every curve, bolt, and gear ratio, this is more than an SUV — it’s an icon reborn,” Sabbagh said.
