Omoni Oboli, Nollywood actress, film director, and producer has condemned Ghanaian TV stations allegedly airing her movies without necessary licences.
Oboli expressed outrage over the “intellectual property theft” in a post on social media.
The actress threatened to take action against the offending TV stations who allegedly showed a “blatant disregard for my intellectual property.”
Oboli also criticised Ghana National Film Authority for “failing to take decisive action against such unauthorized acts.”
The 46-year-old actress emphasised the immense effort and dedication that goes into producing her movies, including countless sleepless nights.
She wrote, “I love my Ghanaian besties, colleagues, and friends. I really do, but you see those TV stations in Ghana!”
