Popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele, known simply as Oritsefemi, has accused his ex-wife, Nabila Fash, of falsely claiming he couldn’t get a woman pregnant despite her having 21 miscarriages during their marriage. The revelation came during a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
“Nabila had about 21 miscarriages. And she still said that I couldn’t get her pregnant,” Oritsefemi said during the interview.
The “Mercies Of The Lord” crooner also recounted a troubling incident where Fash allegedly invited her friends to their home to physically assault him. “My wife [Nabila Fash] asked her friends to come and beat me up in my house. I said, ‘Look at me o; a whole me, lion na he women dey pursue.’ They were about 20. They dealt with me. I’m not lying,” he stated.
Oritsefemi lamented his misfortune with marriages, noting that his first wife also left him after he sponsored her to Dubai. “I have been unlucky with marriages,” he added, reflecting on his past relationships.
Nabila Fash filed for divorce from Oritsefemi in 2022, citing infidelity and domestic violence as the reasons. In an interview with popular On-Air Personality Daddy Freeze, she revealed that Oritsefemi had an affair with another woman on their matrimonial bed while she was at work.
The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in November 2017, but their union was marred by allegations and controversies. Fash’s claims and Oritsefemi’s recent revelations have continued to stir public interest, highlighting the turbulent nature of their relationship.
