The French leader also fondly reminisced about his time as a young intern at the French Embassy in Nigeria, emphasizing the deep personal and historical ties between the two nations.
President Tinubu responded warmly, also in Pidgin English, acknowledging the strong relationship that has developed over the years. He tweeted:
“Merci beaucoup, President Macron. Na big privilege to dey strengthen dis bond wey join Nigeria and France together.
