President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah, underscoring the significance of Eid-el-Fitr as a sacred occasion denoting devotion to Allah and service to humanity.
“(This) signifies the end of Ramadan; a hallowed season which reflects total submission to God Almighty and to His command of sacrifice and service to humankind,” stated President Tinubu in his felicitation.
Expressing solidarity with the Muslim faithful in Nigeria and across the globe, President Tinubu conveyed prayers for their supplications and sacrifices to be rewarded by Almighty Allah.
During an iftar gathering with Nigeria’s leaders of thought and conscience, President Tinubu urged citizens to unite and commit themselves afresh to the noble task of nation-building. “We are the sculptor, and Nigeria is the clay; we build it the way we desire,” he emphasized.
The President concluded by invoking blessings for the enduring lessons, abundant blessings, and joys of the season to remain with the nation, while extending heartfelt wishes for a joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration to all Nigerians.
