President Trump signs executive order freezing aid to South Africa over law to seize farmland from white farmers without compensation

WASHINGTON (CHATNEWSTV) — President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to freeze financial assistance to South Africa, condemning its new land expropriation law, which he asserts discriminates against the white Afrikaner minority. The move also includes plans to offer refugee status to affected farmers seeking resettlement in the United States.

“As long as South Africa continues to support bad actors on the world stage and allows violent attacks on innocent disfavored minority farmers, the United States will stop aid and assistance to the country,” the White House stated in a summary of the order.
