Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has appointed the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Shuaib Oba Abdulraheem, as the pro-chancellor and chairman of the Governing Council for the Kwara State University of Education, KWSUED.
A statement by the spokesman to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, in Ilorin announced the appointment on Friday.
Prof. Oba will lead a team of other senior citizens, administrators, and academics to ensure a smooth transmutation and take-off of the school.
Other members of the governing council are, Mrs. Opaleke Bukoĺa Iyabo; Hajia Risikat Lawal; Rotimi Samuel Olujide; Prof. Umar Gunu, and Engr. Saad Belgore.
Others include Mr. Femi Aina; Omowumi Amuda; Hajia Kubra Kazum; Prof. Ibrahim Abdukadir Abikan; and a representative of the Ministry of Tertiary Education.
