Having lost their opening game in Lille, Australia now find themselves heading into the Quarter-Finals looking for a third consecutive victory having impressed against France last time out. Germany has enjoyed a memorable debut after wasting no time in getting a first win on the board at their very first attempt. Quickly collecting a second victory, they will continue to rely on the towering contributions of Satou Sabally as they try to continue taking historical steps.
France finished first of their group but want to bounce back from the loss against Australia and are looking to make their dreams of a medal on home soil come true. They won bronze at Tokyo 2020 and also memorably reached the Final for the first time at London 2012.

Nigeria will proudly make their first-ever appearance in the Quarter-Finals, and they will also be the first African team to compete at this stage in the Olympic Basketball Tournaments, for both men and women. As ever, playmaker Ezinne Kalu will be out to inspire victory from the backcourt.
USA will continue their quest to defend their throne. They are chasing a 10th Olympic title and remain unbeaten on French soil, helped by the eye-catching form of A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart.
