LAGOS, Nigeria — Popular Nigerian singer Ruger has opened up about his struggles with romantic relationships, admitting that they often fail to hold his interest.
Speaking during an interview with Naija FM, Ruger described himself as a “loverboy” but acknowledged that relationships are not his strong suit.
“I’m a loverboy; it is now that I understand that relationships don’t work for me,” he said.
The singer explained that while his initial instinct with women is to pursue something serious, he typically finds himself losing interest over time.
“My first instinct when I see a girl is to think about getting serious with her. But later, I just become unserious all of a sudden,” he revealed.
Ruger, known for his electrifying performances, also shared his boundaries when it comes to female fans.
“Honestly, the most I can give a female fan on stage is a flower. It is like we are working together. I don’t see it beyond the stage,” he added.
