SDP Governorship Candidate, Murtala Ajaka Attacked By Thugs At The Supreme Court

The premises of the Supreme court turned rowdy on Friday afternoon when thugs attacked the Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kogi state, Murtala Ajaka shortly after APC’s Usman Ododo was affirmed as the Governor of the State.

A few moments earlier, the supreme court affirmed Usman Ododo, the APC candidate as the duly elected governor of Kogi state.

In a judgment delivered on Friday, a five-member panel dismissed the appeal filed by Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Murtala Ajaka, its governorship candidate.

In a trending video as captured by the TVC crew, the SDP candidate was leaving the court premises when some thugs followed and started assaulting him.
