Senator Osita Ngwu Reaffirms Commitment To Constituency Development, Flags Off New Projects

ENUGU, Nigeria, July 17, 2024 /ChatnewsTV/ – The Senator representing Enugu West and the Senate Minority Whip in the National Assembly has reaffirmed his commitment to the development of his constituency.

 

The Senator reiterated his commitment during his inspection tour of his constituency projects in Iwollo, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State.

 

During the visit, Senator Ngwu reassured the community of his dedication to fulfilling his promises and social contract. 

“This project is a testament to our shared vision for a better Enugu West,” Senator Ngwu stated.

 

 He urged the community members to view the project as their own and to cooperate with the contractor by removing any obstructive structures to facilitate the work. Additionally, he assured the community that the link road from Oyofo to Aguobu Owa would be considered in the next community project.

 

Senator Ngwu’s tour continued to Mbaogu Achi in Oji River LGA, where he inspected the ongoing construction of the Mbaogu road, a project he facilitated. 

The Traditional Ruler of Mbaogu Community, HRH Igwe Godwin Madu, praised the Senator’s performance and noted the significant improvements in Enugu West under his leadership.

 

 “Senator Ngwu has brought remarkable development to our community. We are grateful for his dedication and leadership,” Igwe Madu remarked, offering prayers for continued blessings on the Senator and his team.

 

The Senator then visited Eke-Odudo maternity in Ngwo Uno to assess the progress of a new hospital he attracted to the area. Senator Ngwu expressed satisfaction with the quality of work completed so far. stating,

 

 “The progress here is impressive. This hospital will provide much-needed healthcare services to our people.”, Senator Ngwu said.

The tour culminated at Okwojo Ngwo Asaa, where a new road construction project, also facilitated by Senator Ngwu, was officially flagged off. The community celebrated the occasion, expressing their gratitude for the Senator’s effective representation and the tangible improvements in their infrastructure.

 

 “We are witnessing real change, and it is because of Senator Ngwu’s efforts,” a community member expressed.

 

Through these visits and engagements, Senator Osita Ngwu continues to demonstrate his commitment to the development of the Enugu West Senatorial District, ensuring that his promises translate into real progress for the communities he serves.
