TALLINN, Estonia (CHATNEWSTV) – Six standout startups from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have been announced as finalists in the Latitude59 startup pitch competition, where they will compete for a syndicated investment of up to 500,000 euros at this week’s flagship tech conference in Tallinn.
In a statement released on Monday by Marina Bachmann, Press Officer for Latitude59, the finalists were named as Adventum Tech and Talenme from Latvia, Luna Robotics and MELP from Lithuania, and MarkeDroid and Muun Health from Estonia. These six were chosen from a competitive pool of 391 applicants representing 47 countries.
“It was extremely difficult for investors to select the top teams who will take the spotlight on our main stage with their pitches,” said Triin Ilves, Head of Startup Relations at Latitude59. “The discussions were so intense that six startups made it to the final instead of the usual five.”
This year, for the first time, the top ten semi-finalists will also be given the opportunity to showcase their products and services on stage before an audience of more than 700 international investors.
Jana Budkovskaja, Chief Executive Officer of Beamline Accelerator and lead investor for the competition, said the finalists represent some of the most ambitious and promising founders in the region. “What makes them stand out is their bold approach to real-world problems and early traction. Most are already generating revenue and proving market demand,” she said.
David Clark, fund member of EstBAN with Tera Ventures, highlighted the strength of the competition. “The finalists showed great founder-market fit and grit. This competition is not just about big ideas. It is about teams who are building scalable and sustainable businesses,” he said.
The pitch competition, supported by EstBAN, LatBAN and LitBAN, is the largest of its kind in the Nordic and Baltic region. Over the years, it has become a launchpad for early-stage companies seeking international growth.
Emils Kragis, Managing Director of LatBAN, said choosing the final six from a strong top ten was no easy task. “Our investor team dug deep into market validation, founder dynamics and product potential to identify teams with real execution power,” he said.
Roberta Rudokienė, Managing Director of LitBAN, praised the dedication of the teams. “They pitched with heart, clarity and ambition. Even those not in the final six gained visibility and attracted investor interest, which is a win for the entire ecosystem,” she said.
The final pitch event will take place on May 23 during Latitude59 at Kultuurikatel in Tallinn. Alongside the investment prize, additional awards will be presented by partners including Startup World Cup, Pegasus Ventures, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Infobip, SEB, Talenthub, Triniti, Widen Legal and Workland.
Now in its 13th edition, Latitude59 has grown into the most international and influential tech and startup conference in the Baltics and New Nordics, bringing together startups, investors and ecosystem leaders from around the world.
