Mladá Boleslav — Škoda Auto delivered 926,600 vehicles worldwide in 2024, marking a 6.9% increase over the previous year despite a challenging market landscape.
According to a statement released on Wednesday by the company’s spokesperson, the Czech automaker’s performance was bolstered by strong sales in Europe and the continued popularity of key models such as the Octavia and Enyaq.
“It’s exciting to see the positive customer response that drove our delivery growth in 2024,” said Škoda Auto CEO Klaus Zellmer.
“Our diverse powertrain options and refreshed portfolio are setting us up for continued success as we expand globally.”
Germany emerged as Škoda’s top market, with 187,100 vehicles delivered, a notable 18.5% rise from 2023. Other significant increases were recorded in Türkiye (+25.7%), the United Kingdom (+11.9%), and Poland (+13.9%).
The Octavia remained Škoda’s bestseller, with 215,700 units sold (+12.4%), while the Fabia recorded the highest percentage growth at 24.1%. Demand for the Enyaq electric series remained robust with nearly 80,000 units delivered, despite a 2.6% year-on-year decline.
The automaker is gearing up for 2025 with an expanded electric vehicle lineup, including the compact SUV Elroq and the Indian-market-focused Kylaq. Škoda also plans to enhance its presence in Asia, with new assembly operations in Vietnam.
Martin Jahn, Board Member for Sales and Marketing, highlighted the company’s digital advancements.
“Our global showroom updates and enhancements to the MyŠkoda app demonstrate our commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience”, he said.
