A disturbing video has been released by terror bandits, showing the abducted traditional ruler of Kwaji in Taraba State, Sarkin Kwaji, pleading for his life and that of 21 others who are being held captive.
The video, shared by security analyst Mr. Zagazola Makama, captures the monarch speaking in Hausa, urgently calling on the government to step in and save them. “Our lives are in serious danger,” Sarkin Kwaji warned, emphasizing the need for immediate action by either the Federal Government or the Taraba State Government.
Surrounded by armed criminals, the traditional ruler made an emotional appeal, urging the authorities to act quickly to secure their release due to the dire circumstances they face.
The footage also shows other kidnapped victims, some blindfolded, under the watch of heavily armed bandits.
This incident has sparked widespread concern and outrage, especially since it follows a similar abduction in Sokoto State. In that case, the District Head of Gatawa, Isa Bawa, was seen in a distressing video pleading for help while in captivity. Sadly, he was killed just days later after failing to meet the kidnappers’ demands.
