PLANO, Texas — Toyota has announced a year-long partnership with Latin GRAMMY-winning Colombian singer-songwriter Ela Taubert, tying in with the artist’s highly anticipated U.S. tour set to begin later this year.
The collaboration marks a strategic move by Toyota to deepen its connection with younger, music-loving audiences and support rising talent in the Latin music scene. The company will serve as the presenting sponsor of Taubert’s tour, which coincides with the release of her debut album, Preguntas a las 11:11.
“Our partnership with Ela Taubert is an exhilarating step forward in our commitment to innovation and cultural connection,” said Dedra DeLilli, vice president of marketing communications at Toyota. “We are thrilled to be joining her on this blossoming musical path to bring an immersive music experience that resonates with the passions of the next generation.”
Taubert, whose music blends anglo pop and Latin sounds, recently performed at the Sueños Music Festival in Chicago, where she headlined Toyota’s Music Den — an intimate performance space spotlighting emerging artists.
Other performers at the Toyota Music Den included Miami-based Latin boy band DND, California singer-songwriter Eddie Zuko, Venezuelan artist Kobi Cantillo, and DJs Gio Sandz, Chava, and Latin EDM producer 2Deep.
Alongside the performances, the Toyota space featured interactive fan experiences and vehicle showcases, including the Land Cruiser and Prius Prime plug-in hybrid.
Taubert will also be featured later this year on Sounds of the Road, a SiriusXM® performance and interview series presented by Toyota. Her episode, conducted entirely in Spanish, will mark the first time a Latin artist has been spotlighted on the series.
