UK Opens Applications for 2025/26 Chevening Scholarships

London, August 26, 2024 — The UK government has opened applications for the 2025/26 Chevening Scholarships. People from all over the world can apply until November 5, 2024, for a chance to study for a master’s degree in the UK with full financial support.

Chevening Scholarships are for individuals who have the potential to make a positive change in their home countries. Applicants must show they have a clear idea of how a UK master’s degree will help them achieve their goals.

“If you are passionate about driving change, whether locally or globally, if you want to be the best at what you do and you have the imagination to inspire others, then a Chevening Scholarship to study for a master’s degree in the UK is the perfect opportunity for you.

“Apply before the deadline on 5 November 2024, and you could be part of an extraordinary global network.”, said Sarah Cooke, British High Commissioner to Bangledesh.

Since 1983, Chevening has supported over 57,000 professionals, including more than 370 from Bangladesh, in advancing their careers. For the 2025/26 academic year, around 1,500 scholarships are available worldwide. Scholars can study any eligible master’s degree at over 150 UK universities and will also have access to special academic, professional, and cultural experiences.

Chevening Scholarships are funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations. The programme aims to develop future leaders, decision-makers, and influencers from over 160 countries and territories.

Interested applicants should visit chevening.org/apply to start their application.
