The United States has extended its warmest congratulations to the newly inaugurated President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, marking a significant moment in the continued strengthening of ties between the two nations.
In a press statement issued on Sunday, October 20, 2024, U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken hailed Subianto’s election as a testament to the shared democratic values that unite Indonesia and the U.S., which are among the world’s largest democracies.
