Up-Coming Musician Beaten To Death In His Married Girlfriend Compound

An up-and-coming musician, Nana Yaw, known by his stage name Wyllbeemusic, has been reportedly beaten to death in the compound of his married girlfriend at Abuakwa-Tanoso in the Ashanti Region.

Nana Yaw, a promising musician, is said to havr travelled from Accra to Kumasi to spend several days with his girlfriend, who unknown to him, was married to a man living abroad.

The musician’s lover lived in a compound she shared with her husband’s relatives.

Trouble reportedly started when Yaw came out of his lover’s apartment at 1am and was sighted by someone who raised an alarm that a thief had entered the premises.

Some other occupants of the compound immediately raced to the scene and held Yaw, accusing him of being a thief.

He was said to have told them he was not a thief, but a guest of his girlfriend who was their neighbor.

It was reported that the lover-girl, however, denied knowing him to protect her marriage.

This was all the occupants of the compound needed to descend on Yaw, as they thought everything else he had said was a lie.

Some good Samaritans later prevailed on the angry mob to hand over Yaw to the police, but he was already too severely injured.

He was rushed to a local hospital early in the morning after his family was informed about their son’s situation.

The musician was transferred to Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for more comprehensive medical care.

He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

There are now calls for the prosecution of those responsible for the untimely death of the musician.

However, no arrest has been made at the time of writing this report
