Lagos, Nigeria – In a breathtaking display of skill, Estonian slacklining world record holder Jaan Roose successfully walked on a rope from Sterling Towers in Marina Lagos to Onome Rig, all while capturing a historic selfie with the Nigerian flag.

Roose, renowned for his mastery of the slackline, thrilled onlookers as he carefully balanced on the thin rope suspended high above the bustling city. The adrenaline-pumping feat took place on a clear morning against the backdrop of the Lagos skyline, with crowds gathering to witness the unprecedented spectacle.

The daring journey began at Sterling Towers, where Roose, harnessed and focused, embarked on his remarkable slacklining adventure. The rope stretched across the vast expanse between the towers, creating a surreal image against the urban landscape. Onlookers craned their necks, capturing the mesmerizing scene on their smartphones.

As Roose inched his way across the precarious rope, the Nigerian flag billowed in the wind, adding a patriotic touch to the record-breaking feat. His every step seemed to defy gravity, showcasing the Estonian’s unparalleled balance and poise on the thin line between success and challenge.

The walk continued with an awe-inspiring panorama of the Lagos Lagoon, as Roose made his way towards Onome Rig, a distant but visible endpoint. The challenge not only tested his physical prowess but also highlighted his mental fortitude, as the wind and height presented constant challenges throughout the journey.

The climax of the extraordinary event was reached when Jaan Roose, balancing on the rope high above the Lagos waters, took a historic selfie with the Nigerian flag. The iconic image captured the essence of his accomplishment, symbolizing the unity of nations through an awe-inspiring and unconventional medium.

Roose expressed his gratitude to the people of Lagos for their warm welcome and support during the record-breaking attempt. “Lagos is an incredible city with a vibrant energy.
