No fewer than 399 pieces of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) have been intercepted by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) along Mokwa-Jebba road.
A statement on Sunday by the spokesman of the NDLEA Femi Babafemi said the IEDs were recovered from one Asana Oluwagbenga Leke, 39, during the operation on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

In his statement, the suspect said the explosives were handed to him at a park in Ibadan to be delivered to someone in Kaduna.
“The suspect and exhibits have since been transferred to the military authorities in Niger State,” Babafemi said.
