Senator Ayogu Eze, a distinguished former lawmaker who represented the Enugu North Senatorial District, has sadly passed away.
Sources reveal that Senator Ayogu, a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party, succumbed to a protracted illness in an Abuja Hospital.
During his tenure in the Senate, Eze made significant contributions as a member of several committees. His roles included serving on the Police Affairs, National Planning, Marine Transport, and Federal Character & Inter-Government Affairs committees.
Born on November 23, 1958, Senator Ayogu was elected to represent the Enugu North Senatorial District of Enugu State, Nigeria, taking office on June 5, 2007.
